This cable kit allows you to add the Kody Plate Light to your existing Kody Tail Light. It comes with a Y-Splitter Cable and a 2 Pin SAE Cable to run tail light power back to your plate light. Connect the splitter to your vehicle and run the main light off one side and the plate light off the other.
This upgrade kit is not needed when purchasing a new light and plate light together as the power connection is made at the light with a custom split in the main cable.

So far so good. The installation according to the instructions were pretty straight forward. Thrilled I’m able to still use the 7 inch Curt LED lights I purchased prior to seeing this great product. The Curt in my opinion just didn’t provide enough awareness to braking and turning signals. Complete confidence with the Kody. I have installed the bike rack, just not the bikes yet to take pictures. Once I do I will be sure to send and post as it is extremely amazing how our bikes on racks interfere with the vehicle’s lights.
I'm very appreciative that the owner, John, took the time to field my initial call and even called me back to let me know my order had duplicate parts. He saved me money by issuing a partial refund! I have a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe with a 1up rack, and the Kody double light with license plate holder looks hot. Thank You John.
