Keep your license plate seen using the Kody Technologies pivoting license plate holder and light.  This is a stand along plate holder and is used independently from any Kody main light set.  The license plate holder bracket fits cleanly onto your bike rack and is manufactured using the same rugged and durable materials Kody products are known for.   Faux marketing Kody Plate not included.  
 
Works on its own.  You do not need a Kody light for this one.  The pivoting plate holder mounts straight to your bike rack and carries your plate by itself, with an optional plate light.  If you already own a Kody light and just want to add a plate holder to it, use the License Plate Holder Add-On instead.

This license plate holder and plate light is designed for your bike rack.  It mounts to the end of your bike rack and pivots into position for visibility in both the bike loaded (down) position as well as the rack stored (up) position. 
 
This plate holder is available for a variety of bike racks and the installation instructions match the ones for our main lights (tail, brake and turn).  Instructions will be shipped with the plate holder or you can find them on one of the bike rack specific product pages for tail/turn/brake lights.  Here's our Product Install Instructions page where you can find the instructions for your specific rack.  You can also check out the main light product pages to see how the rack mount attaches to your bike rack.

Bike rack license plate lights is great for all time use and if you are driving at night time or in incremental weather.  It lights up your plate so it can be easily seen.   This light is powered with an SAE 2-Pin extension cable from the vehicles four pin trailer connection.  Please contact us if you have questions.  
 
Here are some things you want to know before purchasing this bike rack license plate holder. 
This product will not work with an existing Kody Light.  This mounts directly to your bike rack in the same location the light would install.  
The license plate mounts to the plate holder using the top or bottom holes of your  license plate depending how you mount the holder. 
The license plate holder fits most decorative plate frames. 
On some racks, due to the height of the plate holder, the plate and light can interfere with the bicycle.  
The plate mounts using M6 screws (both thumb and Phillips drive screws are provided).
