Kody Lights for Saris Bike Racks
Light kits built for Saris hitch racks — the SuperClamp G3 and the MHS system. Brackets bolt to your rack's own hardware — no drilling and no modifications.
Small — one 16" bar · Medium — two 12–13" lights · Large — two 16" lights
Driving a Tesla or a Ford? Choose a Medium or a non-sequencing Large — see what works on your vehicle.
Which Saris rack do you have?
Saris has renamed things over the years, so it's worth a moment to be sure.
The SuperClamp light fits the SuperClamp G3 racks.
The MHS light is separate. MHS is Saris's modular system, where trays clip onto a shared spine, and it needs its own bracket.
If your rack says G3 on it, you want the SuperClamp light. If the trays attach to a central bar, it's an MHS. Still unsure? Send us a photo.

Choosing your size
Our sizes describe the light fixture, not the rack.
Small — one 16" bar with sequential turn signals.
Medium — two 12" or 13" lights.
Large — two 16" lights.
For one or two bikes, Small is the clean choice. Running four on a SuperClamp, or carrying e-bikes on an MHS, and the extra width and output of Medium or Large is worth having.
Two reasons to size up even on a two-bike rack. The Small bar shares its bulbs between the brake light and the turn signal, so braking overrides the signal — we suggest signalling before you brake. And reverse lights are only available on the double fixtures.
Two things worth knowing before you load up. On the four-bike SuperClamp, the outer two positions carry less weight than the inner two. And on the MHS, adding the extra tray lowers the rating of the base trays as well, not just the new one. Check Saris's figures for your exact setup before you load heavy bikes — both of these catch people out.

Driving a Tesla or a newer Ford?
Choose a Medium or a non-sequencing Large. Tesla and 2016-onward Ford electronics interfere with the sequential sweep, so a sequencing light won't animate properly on those vehicles. Everything still works, you just lose the animation. Here's what happens and the two ways to fix it.
Lights flickering, or a warning on the dash? That's a different problem — here's what causes it on newer vehicles.

Don't see your rack?
If you've got an older Saris, or a rack we don't make a bracket for, our universal lights mount to almost anything using straps or U-bolts. Or send us a message with your rack model — I'd rather get you the right light than the nearest one.
