Kody lights are the brightest and most durable on the market providing safety and peace of mind when using your bike rack.
Do you want to fabricate and complete your own installation? This light set allows you to use your creative side to install these lights on your rack the way you want them but also leverages our proven lights and electrical assembly. These lights can be installed on any bike rack or cargo carrier. If you need help with installation or fixturing please let us know. We are working on a few cable tie and sticky back mount options.
This light set up uses two 12" or two 13" light fixtures to separate the brake, turn and tail lights. Each light fixture is 12-13" wide and provides bright, clear and visible signaling. This dual light does not sequence left or right like our single 16" sequential light; it flashes the entire left or right fixture for turn signals.

Cable Lengths
Cable length is the run from the light on your rack, along the rack, to your vehicle’s trailer connection. It is not set by the size of your vehicle.
- Short (shown as 5') — 70" Fits most setups — one, two, three or even four bikes — depending on where your vehicle’s trailer connection sits.
- Long (shown as 9') — 112" For a longer run.
- Extra Long (shown as 13') — 160" For the longest runs.
If you add an extension or a pivot arm, that run gets longer. Choose an extension cable or the next cable up.
Vehicle Connections
For this option, choose between a standard four pin and a standard seven blade connectors. The four pin connection powers tail lights (including plate lights if added), turn signals and brake lights. Upgrading to the seven blade option adds a heavier duty cable, a seven pin connector which can power reverse lights and a license plate light connector (we call it plate ready). Choose the correct connection to eliminate the need for adapters and prepare for future upgrades. Seven blade is required for reverse lights (ask about these if interested).
Double Light Fixture Options
We offer two different medium sized light fixture options;
- Basic brake/turn/tail light, with a red lens
- Basic brake/turn/tail light with built in reverse, red lens for signals and white lens for reverse lights.
Each light option is very bright and guarantee you're seen on the road. Reverse light requires a seven blade trailer connector.
