Kody lights are the brightest and most durable on the market providing peace of mind when using your rack.
The rugged, highly visible Kody Technologies 16-inch LED Rack Light creates eye-catching tail, brake, and turn signals. The tail light turns on six of the twelve LEDs at partial brightness. The LEDs animate or sequence left or right for turn signals. And the brake light when activated turns on all LEDs to full brightness,overriding the turn signals. Check out this YouTube Video showing the light in action. The light integrates cleanly on your rack and uses a standard 4-pin or 7-blade trailer connector for easy installation.
This rack light is designed specifically for the 2" Hitch Yakima HoldUp EVO bike rack and works with the two bike rack and the bike rack extension. The 1-1/4" hitch design does not have the mounting locations like the 2" hitch design. The light will fit but a hole needs to be drilled through the rack to mount the light.
Cable Lengths
We provide three cable length options. The cable lengths include Short (5'), Long (9') and Super Long (13'). Each cable measures a bit longer than the foot length shown. The Short cable will work in most applications using a standard bike rack with up to four bike trays.
